Target Audience
This course is designed for clinical radiologists in academic or private practice.

Course Description
This course is designed to demonstrate how to accurately identify imaging findings that narrow the differential diagnosis for Thoracic, Cardiac, Abdominal, Musculoskeletal and Breast Imaging in order to ensure optimal patient care. Maintenance of certification requires continued review of essential imaging techniques in all areas of radiology.

While addressing up-to-date imaging protocols in these areas, this course will cover topics including: breast US screening, lung cancer screening, imaging shoulder instability, recent advances in imaging of the liver and CT/MR imaging of adults with congenital heart disease. The course will help radiologists and clinicians optimize imaging management in terms of appropriate selection of imaging parameters, sequences and exam selection, tailored to specific diagnoses or clinical conditions.

Educational Objectives
After participating in this activity, clinicians should be able to:
-Describe the increasingly widespread role of digital breast tomosynthesis to increase cancer detection, including using a tomosynthesis-guided vacuum-assisted biopsy system.
-Describe the current guidelines on how to manage pulmonary nodules found at lung cancer screening for both typical and atypical findings.
-Identify the latest specialized MR imaging techniques that can be used to replace CT imaging while providing the same treatment for the evaluation of certain patient groups, like those with Femoroacetabular impingement.
-Describe the advances in MR imaging sequences and techniques which enable rapid and accurate early detection of focal and diffuse liver diseases including NAFLD.
