Target Audience
This course is designed for clinical radiologists in academic or private practice.

Course Description
There are many recent technological advances in imaging techniques which can be applied to current clinical practice. Maintenance of certification requires continued review of essential imaging techniques in all areas of radiology, including Breast, Musculoskeletal, Thoracic, Neuroradiology and Pediatric Imaging. This course is designed to demonstrate a practical approach to image acquisition and interpretation in various clinical settings using current up-to-date imaging techniques. The lectures will update attendees on Breast MRI terminology, challenging case reviews in MSK, Thoracic, Neuro and Peds, and guidelines for proper management of brain tumors, hip osteoarthritis and interstitial lung disease. In addition to didactic lectures, several case-based sessions will also be included to cover hip osteoarthritis, radiation dose savings technique for CTA, MR for oral cavity neoplasms and Pediatric MR.

Educational Objectives
-Determine how best to apply radiation dose-saving techniques to CT angiograms in order to minimize radiation exposure of patients evaluated for pulmonary embolus.

-Determine the best way to incorporate recommendations for screening mammography into clinical practice in order to relay the information to patients and apply proper guidelines for breast care.

-Evaluate the most up-to-date imaging techniques and select the appropriate method to recognize individuals at risk for femoroacetabular impingement.

-Discuss how imaging studies are increasingly essential in the diagnosis and management of brain tumors, as well as pathologies of the oral cavity and larynx.

Syllabus
All meeting attendees will receive a USB drive uploaded with the meeting lectures. If you wish to purchase an additional printed syllabus, there is a fee of $30 and you may order this when you register for the meeting.
